I so haven't been keeping up with xanga like I should be. After spending 15 minutes browsing through old posts I realize I need to try and keep up with this consistently. It really is nice to look back and see your thoughts from the past. Wow, I can't believe so much has changed since my first post on xanga...wonder what the future will bring.

Looks like the ski trip to Vail in early January is a go. Unfortuantly, Jenny can't go so it will just be me and some friends this time around. Can't wait to see some snow. It always seems so much more like the holiday when your around it. If any of you want to come just let me know...plenty of room for more folks.

Okay, so I think its about time to do at least a small update. So much has happened I don't even know where to start.

My best friend Joel finally got married, its been in the planning for almost two years. I had the honor of serving as best man, and I'll have to say that...Nothing is as rewarding as seeing the people I care about happy. Good luck Joel!

I had to fire a few employees so I have been short staffed lately, although I have been doing some hiring so things are finally starting to slow back down. Soon I'll have my weekends back! :) Speaking of weekends...

I've come to the conclusion that I need to travel more this upcoming year. I'm at a time in my life where it is possible, I just need to make it happen. So....I'm trying to plan a ski trip for early Janurary to Aspen, but since I have been short on staff it's making it hard to have work covered. AHhhhhhh

I still really want to take that two week trip to South America. How cool would it be to float down the amazon river on a small raft, and spend some time in a real jungle?

Oh, and congrats to my friends who are graduating and leaving College Station. I'll miss you guys/girls.....especially Cheng.

What a relaxing weekend. I spent most of it reading nutrition books and learning new healthy recipes. My theory is that if I learn more healthy recipes (that actually taiste good) that in time I will start cooking less of the other less nutritional meals. So in time you slowly phase out all the bad foods from your diet. It's def. easier said then done. Its so freaking hard to cook or fix 6 healthy meals a day. Hopefully If I can stick with it long enough then it will just become habit.

Speaking of cooking I just bought some new kitchen knives. Yes, I'm telling you about my kitchen knives! So your saying, "Kevin, you must get excited easily." Well, thats a differnet story....but 10 inches of long beautiful Japanease steel. Rarrwww. Check these suckers out. Can't we go out to Northgate just once without having some drama? I was attacked by a Hawaiian gorilla whom I was forced to tranquilize. I think I'm a magnet for cocky guys that want to start trouble.

Side Note: After Rita came to visit I had some huge oak tree limbs scattered across the back yard. I was dreading the chore of cutting them up into smaller pieces in order to haul them to the dump. No need now. The Rott and dobie have already turned them into kindling for me....along with a chair I had on the back porch. What a mess!

Okay, I'm pissed at myself. Not for forgeting to take out the trash, or because I bought diet Mountain Dew by accident...but because I missed a great opportunity.

As soon as I heard about hurricane Rita I should have went out and bought up ALLLLL the D batteries and gallons of water. I could have set up a booth and made a fortune! I know some of you say, "but thats taking advantage of the situation Kevin." Well, yes it is. But someone has to benefit right? And wouldn't it be easier to find water and batteries if you knew where they were? So I missed my chance, and I'll just have to wait till the next natural disaster to make my fortune off of other peoples paranoia.

I've thought about strapping on gas cans to my motorcyle and zipping through the congested highway traffic in search of people who are willing to pay $6 a gallon for gas delivered to their car. Would that be considered price gouging? If I was in need of money I would def. already be on my way, but luckily my bank account is fine and I'm content to set on my ass and watch the traffic via the news channel.

I think I might just go ride my bike through the traffic to piss them off. I'm such an ass.

Okay, although I'm far from being in the mood to type up an entry I do know that it is certainly time for me to do so.

For once I had a pretty laid back weekend. Friday I went out to Northgate, which I can only explain by saying it really sucked. Every club was jammed packed, lines everywhere, and since the clubs were at capacity they were hot.

After the traumatizing experience at Northgate I decided that Saturday night would be much better spent in Houston. Ahhh, now thats how a night out should be. Had a wonderful time,the night was fun, relaxing, and I managed to stay out of trouble for once. Jenny and I did however have a woman come up to both of us at a club, take our picture, and then proceed to ask us if were interested in modeling/filming. The club was loud so she didn't go into detail, but I couldn't help but giggle at the whole thing. Are we interested in modeling/film production? Why don't you just come out and ask us if we are interested in being in a porno? Don't worry guys. You won't be seeing Kevin does Dallas anytime soon I assure you.
